To Whom it may concern: I have nothing but great things to say about Jeff Myers and the staff at Beaufort Alarm. I purchased a new condo in Beaufort last year and needed to find a company to handle all my electronic needs, TV's, sound system, speakers, etc. Approximately a year ago I asked two top local residential real estate agents in Beaufort at different times who they would recommend for my electronic needs and they both recommended Beaufort Alarm. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed working with these people, their prices were very fair, they always showed up when they said they would, they never left a mess and they have been more than patient with me because I am electronically challenged, plus they installed a system and made it as simple as possible and I can actually operate it without any problems. In addition and they have helped me with other issues I have faced being an out of town person who is not living in Beaufort and trying to find responsive good people from a distance to do work at a reasonable price, on time, and to my satisfaction. I love the Beaufort area and the Beaufort people but the term Slow Country is fitting when you are trying to find people to do work that fits your schedule when your coming to Beaufort on a limited basis even in a bad economy. I never had that problem with the folks at Beaufort Alarm or any of the other people they have introduce me to for other needs. I am a Beaufort Alarm fan and more than happy to recommend this great company to any interested parties. I wish they had a location in Birmingham!! When I moved to Beaufort 2 -1/2 years ago, I had no idea to whom to turn for "whole house," comprehensive alarm protection (intrusion, smoke, cell phone backup, etc.). Fortunately, the man who inspected the home prior to purchase suggested Beaufort Alarm and Sound. I couldn't be more pleased. Jeff Myers and his two technicians, John and Matt, worked long and hard to adapt the alarm system hardware already in the house to Beaufort Alarm's monitoring systems. It was not an easy task, but they were able to do it and save me money in the process. Beaufort Alarm also provided components compatible with an existing sound system in the house. When "fired up," the sound system will "blow the roof off of the place."

In my opinion, Beaufort Alarm and Sound is a company with which one can work with complete confidence and satisfaction.

“The system saved our home”

Our experience with Beaufort Alarm and Sound, and the system they installed in our house, has been excellent. Originally, in building our new home, we had no plans to install a security system. However, in a consultation with our insurance agent regarding insurance premiums, we discovered that the discount we would receive for having a security/ fire alarm system was equal to the annual fee of the security monitoring. This was a surprise—just pay for the system's installation, and then the cost was the same as if we did not have it. This was the first big plus in purchasing the system. The second truly amazing positive was that, after years of leaving the house, and then driving back to it to see if the iron was on, the stove was on, the flat iron was on, etc., and finding it wasn't, we finally did it. We walked out of the house with a pot on! 45 minutes later while we were in a meeting cross town, the alarm company called, and said they were getting a signal from the system that there was fire/ smoke. Being 40 minutes away, this was terrifying to hear. We drove back home, in a panic and trying to be safe. Upon arriving at the house, we found that the system had called the fire department, they had already been to the house, put out the fire on the burning pot/ potholder, and opened the windows. There was only smoke damage to deal with, no burning material or fire staining at all. In short, the system saved our home. If we did not have it, our brand new house would surely have burned, and what a financial and heartbreaking loss that would have been. Our smoke damage was cleaned up, and the house was restored to what it had been before. We are so so happy that we decided to install the system. It is a great investment to protect your home.
